Propolis, otherwise known as ‘bee-glue’, is a resin found in tree buds, tree trunks and other botanical sources, which is collected and metabolised by honeybees. Bees use propolis to seal up small holes or gaps in their hives. They also use it to ward off infection and keep their hives healthy and clean.
