The following Case Histories have been provided by independent practitioners.
Case History 1
I talked to Ian on the course I attended at Liphook about my great niece E., who is three and has not made any sounds. She had just been diagnosed as dyspraxic and although her co-ordination is excellent, unusual for dyspraxics, she cannot copy sounds although her understanding and ability to follow instructions is very advanced for her age.
She was getting quite down hearted and not willing to try as it was to hard. She now has a speech therapist and Ian suggested alternating for 6 months - one month on Cognis and one on Bush Fuchsia. I have also suggested she uses Cognis before and after a lesson with the speech therapist.
We went over to Liverpool to see them last weekend and she now has 100 words, still indistinct but nevertheless progress is being made. What her mum says is that the most important thing she has noticed since taking the Cognis is that she is now willing to try to say any word, whereas before she was not. She starts on the Bush Fuchsia this weekend so that should be exciting to see what other changes are made and whether it makes a big difference to her speech.

Case History 2
T. had recently lost his license and failed several times on the exam to regain it. As his profession is driving machinery, it was very important to succeed in his next examination.
T. had received very little schooling and, therefore, has some difficulty reading and writing, yet with perseverance and determination he does meet his needs in this area most of the time. However, in this instance he was having trouble retaining the driver's manual information needed to pass the test. He knows the road rules, but having to read and then answer many questions was very daunting. Because T.'s problem was cognitive, it was an obvious choice to recommend the Cognis Essence.
To his surprise, T. recognized and answered all 92 questions correctly, thus regaining his license. He also found he could remember his new license number as well as phone numbers he had always had to look up. He was also remembering people's names from the past that he had long forgotten and he was very excited.
Of course this has also given T. a great boost to his self-image and it was wonderful to listen to him recollect the events and to observe his faith in the essences.
